Creamy Cajun Lobster Pasta

A rich, creamy pasta dish with a Cajun twist — loaded with tender lobster, juicy shrimp, and bold flavor!

📝 Ingredients:

1 lobster tail (about 6 oz), shell split and meat removed

1/2 lb (225 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined

8 oz penne pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp butter, divided

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 small onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth

1 tbsp chopped parsley

Salt & black pepper to taste

👩‍🍳 Directions:

  1. Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Season shrimp and lobster meat with 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    Sear shrimp and lobster for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
  5. Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning, add chicken broth, and bring to a simmer.
  6. Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan. Cook for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
  7. Return pasta, shrimp, and lobster to the pan. Toss well to coat in sauce.
  8. Garnish with parsley and more Parmesan. Serve hot!
