A rich, creamy pasta dish with a Cajun twist — loaded with tender lobster, juicy shrimp, and bold flavor!
📝 Ingredients:
1 lobster tail (about 6 oz), shell split and meat removed
1/2 lb (225 g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 oz penne pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
3 tbsp butter, divided
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt & black pepper to taste
👩🍳 Directions:
- Cook penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Season shrimp and lobster meat with 1 tsp Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil + 1 tbsp butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear shrimp and lobster for 2–3 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. - In the same skillet, add remaining butter. Sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Stir in remaining Cajun seasoning, add chicken broth, and bring to a simmer.
- Pour in heavy cream and Parmesan. Cook for 3–4 minutes until thickened.
- Return pasta, shrimp, and lobster to the pan. Toss well to coat in sauce.
- Garnish with parsley and more Parmesan. Serve hot!
