🍰 Strawberry Angel Cake Recipe
Ingredients

1 prepared angel food cake (store-bought or homemade)
2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 (8 oz) tub whipped topping (Cool Whip), thawed
3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Optional: extra whipped cream or a drizzle of strawberry syrup for topping


Instructions


Prepare the cake
Tear or cut the angel food cake into bite-sized cubes. Set aside.


Sweeten the strawberries
Place sliced strawberries in a bowl and sprinkle with a little sugar. Let them sit for 15–20 minutes until juicy.


Make the creamy mixture
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together until smooth and creamy.
Fold in the Cool Whip until fully combined.


Assemble the dessert
In a 9×13-inch dish, layer half of the cake cubes, half of the strawberries (with some of their juice), and half of the cream mixture.
Repeat with remaining ingredients.


Chill and serve
Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Garnish with extra strawberries or a dollop of whipped cream if desired.
