Tres LechesTres Leches Cake

Ingredients

For the cake:

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

For the milk mixture:

  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup evaporated milk (or whole milk)
  • 1 cup heavy cream (or table cream)

For the topping (whipped cream):

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until fluffy, then spread it over the cake. Cake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).

In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy.

Add the flour, baking powder, and salt gradually. Mix gently until combined.

Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and bake for about 25–30 minutes.

Once baked, let the cake cool, then poke holes all over the top with a fork.

Mix the three types of milk together, and pour evenly over the cake so it soaks in.

Refrigerate for at least 3 hours (or overnight for best results).
