Salt and black pepper, to taste
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
Lemon wedges, for serving

🦀 For the Creamy Crab & Shrimp Filling:

½ cup cooked shrimp, chopped
½ cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned, drained)
3 oz (85g) cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp mayonnaise
1 tbsp sour cream
1 garlic clove, minced
2 tbsp green onions or chives, finely chopped
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
1 tsp lemon juice
½ tsp Old Bay seasoning (or paprika + garlic powder mix)
Salt & pepper to taste

🧄 For the Cream Sauce (optional but divine):

1 tbsp butter
1 clove garlic, minced
½ cup heavy cream
2 tbsp Parmesan cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven:
Preheat to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, mayo, sour cream, garlic, green onions, Parmesan, lemon juice, Old Bay, salt, and pepper until creamy.
Gently fold in chopped shrimp and crab meat. Set aside.

Prepare the Salmon:
Pat the fillets dry.
With a sharp knife, cut a slit in the middle of each salmon fillet (like a pocket), being careful not to cut all the way through.
Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika.

Stuff the Salmon:
Spoon a generous amount of the creamy crab-shrimp mixture into each pocket.
Place the stuffed fillets in the prepared baking dish.

Bake:
Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and the filling is hot and bubbly.

Make the Cream Sauce (optional but heavenly):
While salmon bakes, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat.
Add garlic and sauté 30 seconds. Stir in cream, Parmesan, and lemon juice. Simmer 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
Season with salt and pepper.

Serve:
Spoon the garlic cream sauce over the stuffed salmon and garnish with parsley or a squeeze of lemon.

🍽️ Serving Ideas

Serve with garlic mashed potatoes, buttered asparagus, or lemon rice pilaf.
Add a chilled glass of white wine (like Chardonnay or Pinot Grigio) for an elegant touch.
