
Ingredients:
For the crust:
- 1 pre-baked pie crust (9-inch)
For the filling:
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
For the topping:
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions:
- Prepare the crust:
Bake your pie crust according to package directions and let it cool completely. - Make the filling:
- In a bowl, beat the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
- In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth.
- Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, and continue mixing until creamy.
- Gently fold in the whipped cream and 1 cup chopped pecans.
- Assemble the pie:
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Make the topping:
- Mix 1 cup chopped pecans, brown sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle this mixture over the pie.
- Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set. - Serve:
Top with extra whipped cream if desired and enjoy cold!
